Mike Bendorph

Mike Bendorph is an Amsterdam based producer and deejay. Mike have been playing music, producing and DJing in his own separate way in an attempt to create his own blend of electronic house music.

Mike grew up playing the keys, and was performing one night a week at Club Roxy  in his home town of Amsterdam by the age of 15. He truly entered the underground Club scene in 1996 and quickly evolved himself in the world producing, performing and partying in countries as the Netherlands, Greece, Mexico, Turkey, Belgium, Austria, and New York. In 1998 he started a popular house oriented radio program “Groove Ecstatic” which was supported by guests as Dimitri, Erick-E, Kenny Carpenter and more.  Mike admits he‘s had a lot of fun over these years, but it’s clear that what is still central to all of this is his music.
As his interests turned more to producing and composing of house and electronic dance music, he started Niteworks Recordings in 2002. Mike’s debut “La belle nuit” which became successful was soon followed up by the wonderful two tracker "Spectrum EP" by Jeff Bennett and along with Danny Dior he produced for Niteworks  “Influence in Motion EP” .   Niteworks is what he sees as much more than just a label, but as a group of great friends, confidants and professionals. It‘s this comfortable and extremely fortunate working environment that allows to mike to carry on strong, continuing to grow as an artist and as a down-to-earth, extremely personable character.
